This is a great appellation wine blended with small amounts of Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. Cedar, char and celery salt accent tight, refined tannins that grip the palate with intense flavor and texture. Black currant, crushed rock and a hint of toasted oak also contribute. Enjoy best from 2027-2032.

This has started to mature already, with a mellow and understated profile of gently mulled cherry, red licorice, sweet bay leaf and worn cedar gliding through the subtly persistent finish. Nicely done for the vintage. Drink now through 2029. Tasted twice, with consistent notes. 3,242 cases made.
