The bright yellow 2020 Chardonnay Gravel Road is lush and ripe with aromas of melon, honeyed citrus, and toasted baking spices. Medium-bodied, it's mouthwatering and balanced with fresh citrus, an attractive pithy texture, and balanced ripeness. Refined on the palate, with a long finish, it offers up a lot of immediate pleasure but should hold on nicely in the 4-5 years to come.

This multi-vineyard blend offers great value and a most interesting set of aromas. It begins with an earthy-savory note reminiscent of scrambled eggs, salt and shaved Oregon white truffles. The "breakfast" then continues with aromas of cantaloupe and lemon curd. The palate shows off really ripe peaches and more lemon-this time in the form of a meringue pie. The wine's acidity feels almost spritzy on the tongue.
